CRYSTAL CRUISES ANNOUNCES 2001 VALUE COLLECTION

LOS ANGELES, June 26, 2000 -- Crystal Cruises has set its 2001 Value Collection sailings, offering up to 2-for-1 pricing. Of 54 cruises scheduled aboard the cruise ships Crystal Harmony and Crystal Symphony, only eight have been designated as part of the Crystal Value Collection. These sailings are available in South America, the Mediterranean, Alaska, Panama Canal, and the Caribbean. Crystal Cruises is also announcing Value Collection pricing for five fall 2000 Panama Canal/Caribbean itineraries.

"Crystal's Value Collection cruises are ones that are typically slower to sell, such as shoulder season or repositioning cruises," says Adam Leavitt, Crystal Cruises' vice president, marketing. "Traditionally, in the cruise industry, repositioning cruises, such as trans-Atlantic crossings with few ports, have been the most heavily discounted sailings. However, our Value Collection includes voyages that feature interesting itineraries and exceptional prices."

2001 Value Collection Cruises

Crystal Cruises has designated eight cruises -- ranging from 10 to 17 days -- from January through September 2001, as Value Collection sailings. Cruise fares begin as low as $1,970 per person, double occupancy (or $197 per day) for a 10-day Caribbean cruise.

South America

· Jan. 13-29; Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires, Argentina; 16 days. Cruise fares start at $3,360 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Harmony)

Mediterranean

· Apr. 27-May 10; London to Rome, 13 days. Ports of call in five countries. Cruise fares start at $4,715 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Symphony)

· Sept. 7-19; Venice to Athens, Greece, 12 days. Ports of call in Hvar, Croatia; Catania, Sicily, Italy; Mykonos, Greece; Kusadasi, Turkey and Rhodes, Greece. Cruise fares start at $4,340 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Symphony)

· Sept. 19-Oct. 1; Athens to Rome, 12 days. Ports of call along the French and Italian Rivieras. Cruise fares start at $4,340 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Symphony)

Alaska

· May 21-June 2; round-trip San Francisco, 12 days. Cruise fares start at $2,660 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Harmony)

Panama Canal

· Sept. 1-18; Acapulco to New York, 17 days. Cruise fares start at $3,545 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Harmony)

· Dec. 6-21; Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles, 15 days. Cruise fares start at $3,635 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Symphony)

Caribbean

· Dec. 3-13; San Juan to Fort Lauderdale, 10 days. Cruise fares start at $1,970 per person, double occupancy. (Crystal Harmony)

"Crystal's Value Collection presents an ideal opportunity for first-time guests to enjoy all of the luxury, entertainment and sightseeing opportunities of our world-class cruises at our most attractive rates," adds Leavitt. "We've also seen that these fares encourage our past guests to add another cruise to their vacation plans. Historically, our Value Collection cruises sell out, so we urge travelers to book early for their preferred stateroom."

At 50,000 tons with only 940 guests, the spacious Crystal Harmony and Crystal Symphony both are the highest-rated luxury ships afloat. Crystal Cruises outscored every other cruise line in the most recent Travel & Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler reader polls.
